Chills & Thrills Bookshop is owned and operated by me, Marisa (she/her/hers). I’m passionate about books, community, and tech, so I built a bookshop that lets me do all three.

By day, I'm a UX content designer, and a big part of what I do as a content designer is storytelling. I love connecting people with stories, and that's what I've aimed to do here.

I'm based out of the hill country in Texas, and when I'm not working or running the shop, you can find me reading (of course), having too much coffee, or chasing my wild kiddos.

Why shop indie? Indie bookstores run on community, a dream, and a lot of caffeine. We're not in it for financial reasons.
