It's widely debated in the book community when to read The Assassin's Blade in the Throne of Glass series. This is a collection of novellas that take place before book 1; however, this can be read 1st, 3rd, or 4th. (Yes, I know, that's a lot of options.) We, along with the publisher, recommend reading it in publication order, which is 4th. But honestly, as long as you read it before Queen of Shadows, there's no wrong order.
