I really enjoyed this one! This is my first book of Kayla Olson’s, and I really connected with her writing style. The pace was fantastic, it was witty, and the banter was giggle-worthy.
Sadie signs up for a wilderness trek initially to prove to her ex that she’s more than capable of camping and surviving in the great outdoors. She’s a bit out of her depth at first, but her character growth throughout was so sweet to see.
Thorn is one of the guides for the trek, and while he seems to have a bit of a grumpy exterior, he’s really a softie inside (my weakness).
On the trek, there’s adventure, self-reflection, and a cast of characters that I truly came to care about.
Sadie and Thorn are true opposites, which made their banter and chemistry absolutely delicious.
